Trip to the Golden Arches
There are few great places on this wonderful earth, but McDonald's in Cirencester is one of those. So rather than the usual trip to the pub on a Friday, we thought it was time for a change. So it was off to the Golden Arches that Oli and Mark went to pick up the rather large order.
Here is CEO Oli Christie with the drink refreshments...!
And here are some of the team tucking in like a bunch of kids with their first Happy Meal.
Jump into the pool
Once we'd devoured our Big Macs and fries, we had a pool tournament of savage ferocity. OK not really. The quality was abysmal, the fouls mounted up and the winning team won by the other team potting the black ball at the wrong time. But...it was fun.
We then gave our new-ish iPad arcade a run for its money. And we have to say it was pretty rubbish. They look great, they look cool, but they play like a pile of doggy doo.
One hundred and eiiiiighhhhhhhttttt-y!
We also had a few games of the old "arrers" and it's fair to say the wooden cupboard got more holes in it than the darts board itself.
So all in all it was a cracking lunch. But I think it's fair to say that we're better at making games than playing them. Which is lucky.
